Hello, I’m Fraser. I’m a service designer in Edinburgh, working in the public sector. This is my take on a digital garden.
What this is
It’s a place for thinking out loud. Mostly about design, how services get made, leading a community of practice, and what I’m learning as I go. Some of it will be about other things I’m curious about.
I’m trying to work and learn in the open. That means putting things here before they’re fully finished and tending to them over time.
How it works
This is a series of interconnected notes. It’s non-linear and there’s no strict hierarchy - some of it will be more filled in than others. I’ll keep adding to it over time - probably.
Each note has a stage, so you know what you’re reading:
- Seedling: a rough idea, written down early on purpose
- Budding: taking shape, still in progress
- Evergreen: settled enough that I’d stand behind it
Nothing here is ever really done. I’ll come back and tend things, and the dates on each note show when it was last updated.
